Sinusitis and Nasal Polyp Surgery (FESS)

Functional Endoscopic sinus surgery is a surgical method used in the treatment of allergy-related polyps in the nasal cavity in the surgery of chronic sinusitis that does not respond to medical treatments. With high-tech telescopes, camera systems and surgical instruments suitable for them, it allows us to perform surgery in areas that we cannot normally see with the naked eye.

In general, there is no need to use tampons in most cases. If the patient has complaints of intranasal bone curvature or enlargement of the nasal concha, it can be resolved in the same session.

Patients take care of their nose by cleaning the inside of the nose with solutions after the surgery and clearing the crusts and discharges formed in the nose.
